Job title: Executive Finance
Main purpose of the job
Apply principles of accounting to maintain accounting records, prepare & audit of financial statements, analyze financial information & prepare MIS reports and application of controls, policies & procedure.
Scope of Works
The effectiveness of this role will be measured, among other things by
- Implementation of Accounting Software and data transfer.
- Statutory Audit & Internal audit.
- Annual Budget & Forecasting
- Cash flow management.
- Monthly closing & MIS.
- Pay roll.
- Maintenance of Asset Register.
- Revenue Collection.
- Establish, maintain, and coordinate the implementation of internal control, policies & procedures.
- Insurance.
Person Specifications: Qualification and experience
Bachelor degree in accounting or a professional accounting qualification (Chartered Accountant or equivalent) is preferred.
A minimum of 4 years experience in similar role.
Personal attributes
- Excellent report writing and presentation skills.
- Excellent computer skills including office software and the ability to learn new applications with minimal training.
- Excellent analytical, leadership, communication and problem solving skills.
- Ability to work independently while being a strong team player is essential.
