How to answer the 1st Question in an interview i.e. Tell me about yourself?
For some people its seems difficult to starts answering in an interview, specially they got confused on the very first question "Tell me about yourself", they might be thinking that maybe they should tell about their family background or hobbies or try to tell who they are, but Hey! in a professional interview the interviewer is not interested in this, rather he wants to know about your abilities and skills with respect to the job offered. So in my opinion when you are asked this question be prepared to answer this by telling your name, your education and your set of experience and skills with respect to the skills required for the job.

• Learn appropriate software development tools in use at SSS, as specified by the supervisor.
• Attend to e-alerts and provide solutions in real time.
• Support and enhance computer programs and gain understanding of the whole applications.
• Should also maintain applications system documentation.
• Participate in study and analysis of current applications.
• Interact with relevant stakeholders and resolve day to day issues under guidance from the supervisor
• Actively participate in various SSS forums and groups.
• Keep abreast of latest developments in the profession.
• Work on special assignments under guidance of supervisor and manager.
• Assist the supervisor in his/her work wherever required.
• Develop and harness good communication skill and maintain relations with peers.
Requirements
• The candidate should have BS degree in Computer Science
• Working knowledge of database design and writing SQL queries, TSQL, and DTS packages in MS SQL Server 2000 2005 is essential and MS SQL Server 2008 will be an added advantage
• Should have basic knowledge of SSIS, SSAS and SSRS
• Basic knowledge of IIS, HTML, DHMTL, XML/XSL, JavaScript/ VBScript, ASP/ ASP.NET, VB.NET, VB, VC++, VB, VBScript, VBA, MS Access, C++, C#, COM/DCOM/MTS is essential
• Knowledge of SDLC, OOPS, and structured methodologies
